SYDNEY, May 25,

Particulars of the recent hurricane in the New Hebrides, when 10 vessels were driven ashore and two whites and si's natives drowned, showed that the effects were more devastating than at first reported. The storm was general throughout the group. Houses were unroofed and blown down at Aneityum and Tanna, and it is supposed that several recruiting vessels besides the 10 already reported were blown ashore. The steamer Malatia had a trying experience. She lest her deck cargo and fittings.
