REVIVAL AT AKAROA. CFeom Our Own Cobbespondent.) GHRISTCHURCH, May 26. A project is on foot to establish the whaling industry in Akaroa Harbour. During the past three weeks over 40 whales, including several right whales, have he-en sighted within three miles of the coast, between Peraki and Akaroa, and durincr the past week whales have been sighted daily. A meeting is to be held with the idea of floating a company, and, if successful, plant will be immediately procured, and a start made as soon as possible. In the meantime boats' crews are being formed and ocher details arranged.
