The expected arrival of a Canadian 6teamer with a cargo of 5000 tone, said to consist largely of agricultural implements, was mentioned on, Friday by a member of the Ghristchurch Chamber of Commerce, who stfid that the vessel's departure for New Zealand had! just been cabled Mr A. Kaye said Miat the vessel had to call at Melbourne and Sydney on the way, ami it was to be hoped that the bulk of her carsro would be left there.
