CHRISTCHURCH BOOT TRADE.
CHEISTCHURCH, May 26. In connection with the recent threatened trouble in the boot trade owing to the action of the employers in dis*» charging their girl apprentices the day before a holiday, a report was received at yesterday evening's meeting of the Christchureh Bootmakers' Union from the Executive of the New Zealand Boot Trades' Federated Union to the effect that the executive has decided to take legal advice on the matter.
