SHOOTING.
On Friday teams from the Dunedin Rifles and Kaitangata Rifles journeyed to Milton to try conclusions with the Bruce Rifles. The weather was good, and a very enjoyable day was spent, and some good scores were registered. Kaitangata proved the winner, with a record score for the team. Dunedin was second, having a majority of 5 points over Bruce. The conditions were: 11 men aside; lowest score counted put. Seven shots and two optional sighters at 200, 500, and 600yds. The visiting, teams were entertained at tea by the Bruce team. The scores were :
