SALE OF RACEHORSES.
HIGH PRICES REALISED. AUCKLAND. June 6. At the sal© of racehorses in training, yearlings, and brood mares in the estate of the late Mr J. B. Williamson, of Ellerslie, I the whole 23 lots offered were sold, r calls--1 ing 1805 guineas, or an average of a frac-
tion over 78gs each. The highest price for a yearling- was 295 gs for Condamine, by Soult-Katherine Gordon, bought by Mr Pattullo, of Wanganui. Royal Irish, by Soult—Asthore, a yearling half-brother to the steeplechaser Irish, brought 240 gs, Mr H. Mackenzie, of M gere, being the purchaser. The brocd mare Alknnah, with a foal by Soult and stinted to the same sire, was sold for 235 gs to Mr George Currie, of Wanganui. Cuirasette, by Cuirassier, was purchased by Mr R. Duder for loOgs.
