CALCUTTA, June 2. Captain Kaban, of the Indian Army, now on leave, drew Lemberg in the Calcutta Turf Club Sweepstakes. He immediately sold a half-share to a London Syndicate for £7500. The first prize is worth £50,000. LONDON, June 2. The win of Mr A. Cox, an ex-Australian, who races under the name of Mr Fairlie, owner of Lemberg, winner of the Epsom Derby, is the general topic of conversation in London.
