THE PRICE OF MEAT.
LONDON, May 31. The National Federation of the Meat Traders' Association announces greatly increased prices of meat owing to the short supplies of cattle and largely reduced, arrivals of United States and Canadian live stock. The retailers have been obliged to raise their prices. There are no indications that meat will be cheaper for some time.
