PETITION TO GOVERNMENT. WELLINGTON, March 5. At a public meeting attended by disappointed land-seekers at Wairoa it was resolved to petition the Government to take Brown's Tuhara. property of 8900 acres, or the Kiwi of. 16,000 acres, or other lands suitable, in order to appease the land-hunger. . . . .. .'
