COLONIAL FRUIT

LONDON, March 2

The Hon. J. M'Call, Agent-general for Tasmania, read a paper before the Society of Arts on the fruit production of the Empire. Mr A. Orwin, master of the Fruiterers' Company, presided, and stated that colonial fruit was of such excellent quality that it was doing \ much to make the British a nation of fruit-eaters.
