NEW ZEALAND UNION. WELLINGTON, August 13. The Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night considered a protest by W. Fraser, of Southland, against his disqualification for disputing a referee's ruling. Fraser, who denied the charge, is to be informed that the appeal is not in order, not having been lodged within the stipulated time. Mr H. Kellv leaves Wellington for Sydney to-morrow to represent the New Zealand Rugby Union in respect to its financial interests in the tour of the British team in Australia.
