There is nothing further to report aa to wheat. Harvesting ia now' in full swing, but up to the present no samples have been shown, neither have reports 1 as to yield come to hand. It is expected, howeveT, that some early lines will be offering next week, and buyers are keenly awaiting samples, both with a view to seeing the quality and to fill early orders. Pirices are expected l to open at 4s 3dj per bushel for prime- quality. Old wheat is off the market, and! therefore not quoted. Owing to the southern holders placing their old oats on the market at lower rates, the market has had a tendency to drop back, and oate which were easily saleable at 2s 3d per bushel on trucks are now difficult to dispose of, and merchants are only offering 2s Id to 2» 2<3i except for heavy bright lines, for which 2s 2Jd to 2s Sd is occasionally obtainable. Duns are offering ftaeiji and the quality is better than was expcctecT Buyers, however, ire not keen, and- 2s Id is the best price obtainable to-day lor gcidcoloured feed. Canadians aud Danish sje scarce. The only lines of tne latter are of very poor, light quality, for wb:c-h 2s :s the best offered. Prime old oatsheaf chaff is' now off the market, and no new chaff is yet being cut, except for mixing purposes. Offers of £3 are made for prinua heavy lmt-s when ready.
