There was a large attendance of buyer?, danymen, farmers, and others from Taieri and Miuouncling distiicts The day proved very boisterous and stormy, with 1 heavy showers of ram and ha.il. Thi c — although Foinenhat unpleasant — was. after tli3 prolonged dry weather, accepted cheerfully, and seemed io give hopefulness and to raise the spirits of tha buyers, with the result that under animated and well-sustained bidding, every let was sold at prices which showed I some advance on those lateV ruling', and which piovccl veiy satisfactoiy to the vendor.
