The decision of the Stewards in all cases to be final. All entries and acceptances MUST be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, and contain entrance money, age, pedigree, description of horse, and coloiirs to be worn by the rider. No protest will be received vmless the sunK of 2sovs is deposited with the secretary; ta be forfeited if the objection be not sustained. Ail races (except trotting races) will ba tun under the Rules of Racing adopted by, the Dunedin Jockey Club. The trotting races will be run under the Rules of the New Zealand Trotting Association. By enteiing a horse, the nominator and every person having any interest in such horss shall b© deemed to accept all the conditions and restrictions imposed or implied by thesa rules, and to be debarred from questioning any action or conduct of any official of a) Trotting or Racing Club in respect of sucla horse, or of any person connected therewith* otherwise than is provided for by Rulo 93, Rules of Trotting. The decision of the Stewards is subject to appeal (see Rulu 8, Constitution, and Eule S3 of Trotting). No protest shall be entertained unless lodged in writing and accompanied by ths sum of £5.
