SOUTH BRITISH INSURANCE CO. AUCKLAND, September 29.
The balance sheet of 'the South British Insurance Company for the year ended August 31 shows a profit in the revenue account of £50,770 13s 4d, after adding £10,000 to the Reinsurance Fund. The unallotted shares realised £44,783 Os Bd, of which £35,372 has been carried to capital account, and £30,000 added to the Reserve Fund. The balance ■was carried iorward. After "payment of a dividend of 2s 6d per share for the second iialf year there is & 'balance of £30,802 10s 7d.
