TERRY COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. WELLINGTON, October 2.

Lionel Terry, the self-accused murderer of the Ghinaman in Haining street on the niwht of the 24-th ult., appeared before Dr M'Arthur, S.M., to-day. The prisoner was not represented by counsel. Medical evidence was given similar to that adduced, at the coroner's inquiry. Several other witnesses were also examined, but no new facts of importance have been elicited so far.

Wiheri cautioned in the statutory manner as to whether he had anything to say, the accused replied in the negative. He was then formally committed for trial.
