Prices during the past week were- as follows^— -Roosters, 4s to 4s 6d per pair; hens, 8s t0~"36 6d per pair; ducks, 4s 6d to 4s 9d per pair : geese, 5s per pair (poor demand); turkeys — gobblers 7£d, hens Ed per lb.

Messrs Pryor and Co. (per Mr E. Reilly) ie- ' port: — Poultry have been in short Supply, and all lota- coming forward meet keen demand. , We .received a few choice consignments of young roosters.;. and sold 47 at 5s and 85 at5s 6d per pair; also received 104 hens, which we sold at' 4s-'per pair. Ducks have been very . scarce; we only received 37 the. past week, which realised 6s &3 per pair. Ihirkey gcb- ,' biers and Jiens^aie in ove'r,atipp"ly. We gold : 18 gobblers at 7Jd, the .balance at 7a per Ib. , Hen turkeys: W-e placed our consignments at 5d per Ib. Eggs : Owing to exporters operat- • ing, prices have hardened. We sold all our 1 consignments at 9|d per doz, and expect prices "to remain -firm. "
