ThSir experience in this line, extending over some 30 year 3. is a guarantee that their stock i 3 well selected and suited to the requirements of all New Zealand anglers. Among the new goods t notice some likely-looking new patterns of flies and minnows. Their new season's catalogue is now ready, and every angler should obtain a copy. I have had pleasure in examining this season's minnows shown by Mr H. Isaacs, 156 Moray place, Dunedin. They consist of a large variety of the well-known Osmond New Zealand .patent minnow, made in t-out, eel, and soleskin, etc.. in all sizes, and suited for all streams. I Messrs A. and W. M'Carthy's fishing tackle catalogue for the season 1905-06 is to I hand. The catalogue is illustrated by numerous photographs, and the various ; goods are briefly and clearly described. The rods are a particularly fine selection, ani.l [ in '•eels the leaders are a fine line of revolving plate reels with works of steel. The I firm has the usual good assortment of cast^. j traces, fiie?, minnows, and other fishing ! gear.
