THE TURF RECORD.
The sportsman's guide, philosopher, c.nd friend in the shape of the Turf Record for last season has made its appearance, and, as usual, it is full of the facte which point no the possibilities of the future. It contains a full report of last season's racing and trotting, and a fund of informatioji which no one who takes a close interest in the turf can afford to be without. An important part of the volume is the new Rules of Racing adopted at the last conference, and it would be well if those concerned perused them a couple of times before the season gets much oldei. The printing and binding are- up to the usual standard, and the book is bound by a handsome cover. THE BETTING MARKET.
