CLYDE, March 21

The Matau dredge is now on improved wash, the latest wash-up for three days giving a. return of IGoz.

The machinery of the Vincent dredge is row on land, and a sale is advertised to toke place on Thursday.

Repairs are about to be carried cut en ifc« Monte Christo dredge.

The river is now very low, and there is a prospect of the remaining gorge diedges making a start soon.

Tlie siiggested repairs to the Halfway I-'oi.s« dredge have not yet been undertaken. CLYDE, March 24. The work of repairing is to be taken in hand at once on the Halfway House dredge. The Unity dredge is having the screen repaired at the Otago Central Foundry, and a3 toon as it is returned and fitted up the dredge will resume work.

A sale of the machinery of the New Vincent dredge took place yesterday, but several lots v.'ere passed in, as the bidding was not spirited.

The Matau dredge is taking a cut up the middle of the river a little above Mutton Town Gully.

The Loch Lomond dredge is again upon payable gold. The weekly returns showing an increase of several ounces of late.
