AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, March 24.

At the meeting of the Auckland Football Association (socker) there was some severe criticism of the New Zealand Association in regard to the treatment of the local centre and management of the New South Wales team's visit, upon which there was a deficiency of 7s lid. The expenses of the team in N Wellington for three days were £113, while in Auckland nine days' expenses only reached £68. It was agreed to ask for "a complete statement of accounts. The meeting was to have considered * proposal to sever connection with the New Zealand Association, and form with Taranaki a separate association, but consideration was deferred in view of the visit of the English team, and to obviate any difficulty in regard to the match being played in Auckland.
