DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.

The monthly meeting of the committee of the Dunedin Jockey Club was held on the 30th ■ait., there being present Messrs Solomon <ia the chair), Thomson, Carr, Hazlett, Myers, Bullock, and Miller. Apologies for absence weje received from Messrs Mills, Coughlan, and Taggart. The Programme Committee submitted a draft programme for the season, showing an increase in added money of £185, as follows: — Syring meeting, J68O; -autxunn, winter, dE4O; while the summer meeting is reduced by ! £40. The Totalisator Committee reported recom- ' mending that Mr Mason be appointed to work the totalisators on the same terms as last year. — Recommendation adopted. The following tenders were accepted for the privileges for the season: — Grand stand and public licensed booths, Mr J. Stenhouse ; racebooks, Mr R. Langley; tearooms, stand and i public lunch, Mrs Beatson; oyster stand, Mr W. Anderson. The Press Company wrote thanking the club for a donation towards the publication of the Turf Register. — Received. S. Alexander and the horse Black Tracker were placed on the forfeit list for £4 5s due to the Oamaiu Club and £3 due to the D.J.C. The following licenses were granted: — Trainers: H. Jackson, A. Godfrey, W. F. Giilett, and R. Kennedy. Jockeys: J. E. | Blyth, W. J .Larkins, J. B. M'Elroy, Thos. Minahan, A. M'Kenzie, W. R. Robb, E. Scoullar, A. Godfrey, W. F. Gillett, and Thos. Shaw.
