SYDNEY, January 28.
At the Homebush sales sheep sold at improved prices. Cattle were imchanged. Best wethers sold at 18s to 20s 9d; good, 17s 6d; best bullocks, £11 10s to £12 15s; good, £10 10s ; best cows, £8 5s ; good, £7 10s. Best beef about 26a per 1001b.
February 1. At the Homebush sales competition was keen. Wethers were scarce at from 21s to 24s Id; ewes, 18s 5d to 21s 3cf. Cattle- Prices were easier. Best bullocks brought from £11 to £12 6s; good, £10; cows, best, £7 15s; good, £7. Best beef sold at 25s per 1001b.
