OWAKA STOCK SALE.
The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association of New Zealand (Limited) report: — "We held our fortnightly stock sale at Mr M'lntyre's yards, Owaka, on Friday last, the 29th ult. There ■was a large attendance of buyers, and the bulk of our entiy was cleared fit satisfactory prices. We yarded 200 head cattle, and sold for various vendors at the >i ollowing values : — Two-year-old steers "at £1 5s to £5 10s; 12 months to 18 months steers and heifers, £3 10s to M 12s 6d; yearling heifer 3, £2 to £3 10s; three-year-old heifers in ca'.f , £4 10s to £5 10s ; cows close to calving and in full milk, £6 5s to £8.
