Notes from Alexandra.

(Fbom Otjb O"wn Coerespondent.)

ALEXANDRA, January 28. The weather for the past week has been exceedingly warm and close, but last night we had a heavy thunderstorm with rain and hail, which lasted for about an hour. The rivers and creeks were all in flood for the time being. The indications at pi'esent are very much like more thunder. The Molyneiis River is steady at sJft.
