ARLTUNGA GOLDFIELDS
ADELAIDE, April 29. The manager of the Winnecke Junction mine, Arltunga, reports striking payable gold in quarrying the outcrop. It is the best seen on the field. The lode is 10ft wide. He considers the development of great importance. LONDON, May 1. The Consolidated Goldfields Company of Soutn Africa has purchased, through, the Explorers' Trust, eight of the principal gold properties at White Range, Arltunga, South Australia, including Luce's, one of the leading claims.
