The Eight-oar Inter-State Race resulted as follows: — Victoria 1. Queensland 2, South Australia 3, New South Wales 4, Wcstralia 5. The winners led most of the way and won by four lengths. Time, 14min 27 4-ssec.

Sculling Championship of Australia resulted: Bourko (Tasmania) ]. Ivens (Victoria) 2, Brasch (New South Wales) 3. Won by several lengths. Time, 17min 25ssc.
