THE KING'S CORONATION
THE DUBLIN CORPORATION AGAIN. !UR BARTON ON SIR SEDDON. LONDON, April 22. It is officially announced that the following will be the only Premiers who will be royal guests at the Coronation: — Sir Wilfi id Laurier, Premier of Canada ; the Right lion. E. Barton, Premier of the Australian Commonwealth ; the Right Hon. R. J. Seddon, Premier of New Zealand; Sir Gordon Sprigg, Premier of Cape Colony; Sir R- Bond, Premier of Newfoundland; and .Sir A. H. Hime, Premier of Natal. The following Governors will also be royal guests : — Sir Joseph West Ridgeway, Governor of Ceylon ; Sir J. A. Swettenham, Governor of British Guiana ; Sir W. MacGregor, Governor of Lagos (West Africa) ; and Sir Francis W. Grenfell, Governor of Malta. At the instigation of the Agentsgeneral, Mr Chamberlain consults the King as to whether he would be willing to receive a colonial address in the Royal Albert Hall, and thus afford the mass of the colonial visitors an opportunity for seeing their King and Queen. April 23. Queen Alexandra, who has been at Copenhagen on a vi^it, has returned to London. The Government dockyards will be closed on June 2G and 27, iv connection with the Coronation celebration*. The King's guests will w.ilch the Coronation naval review aboard liners, which will follow the Royal yacht. All other 1 private v' j-~pKj -~pK will be anchored. April 27. | The King and Queen lunch at the | Guildhall /luring the week following the Coronation. The King has intimated hU wish, that the theatres bo closed on June 27 and Lo only. A senior peor of each degree pays homage at tho Coronation. The Pope has granted Catholics throughout the British Empire dispensation from fasting and abstinence on June 27 and 28. SYDNEY, April 2.",. The four Norfolk Islanders to be included in the Coronation Contingent have arrived here. April 27. Mr Barton was banqueted at the Town Hall prior to taking his departure for London. There was a large gathering. The .speeches were chiefly complimentary. Mr Bnrton, referring to Mr Seddon, said Home people considered Mr Seddon had ceased to be a Democrat because he was such a loyalist. He did not agree with those people.
