. ♦_ LONDON, June 21. The newspapers are full of comments on, the Liberal split, as exemplified in Mr Asquith's and Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman's views on the war. There is much political excitement over the matter. June 22. Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman has conferred with Sir W. V. Harcourt, and has decided not to reply to Mr Asquith for the present, hoping that the differences mr the party ranks will subside. The Radical press is endeavouring to draw a veil over the quarrel.
