Sheepskins.— Moderate catalogues were offered thia weelf, and for all classes "competition continues good. Best dry • crossbxeds sold .at from 4s 6d to ss, medium 2s 6d to 4s 3d, light and inferior Is 3d to 2s 3d, best diy merino sud halfbreds 5s to 6s, medium and good 3s to 4s 6d, light and inferior Is 3d to 2s 6d. Rabbitskuis. — Tho demand for these continues good, and all coming fciward are readily sold at a slight advance on late prices, bast winters selling at from 15d to 16d, medium. 13Jd to lod, autumns and early winters lid to 13d, summers 6d to 9d, smali and torn 2d to 6d. Hides. — The demand for these also continues good at late quotations, which are: For best heavy ox 3gd to 'ijd, light ox and good cow 3d to 3ld, inferior 2d to 2sd per lb. Tallow and Fft. — The market for liiese seems somewhat easier, and prises show a slight decline, yet all consignments coming to hand are saleable at : For jirime taliow from 15s 6d to 17s 6dj medium 13s to 15s, best fat 12s to 13s, medium 31s to 12s. inferior 9s to 100 per cwt. Wheat. — Since last 'report there has been no* alteration to note. Buyers are by no means keen to operate; still, prime milling lines are saleable ot quoca^ons, while medium quality is neglected. Fowl wheat is in good demand, and -all offering ja readily taken up at iull rates, which ore : For 'prime velvet and Tus-' can 2s 6d to 2s 7d, jnediuin 2s 2d to 2s -sd, good whole fowl wheat 2s to 2s 3d, broken and inferior Is Pd to Is lid (sacks in, terms). T Oals. — Tha demand for these has been more satisfactory for the pnsl week or two, particularly for good chipping lines of bright feed, E>4id a good many have been sold at fully 1 up to quotations, though at the moment the market soems quieter again, the bulk of immediate orders having been filled. Quotations are: For milling 3 s 9cl, best feed to Is 9d, good Is Bd' to Is BJd. msdium Is 7d to Is 7£d, inferior la to Is 6d (sacks extra, net). Barley. — Unless fov special lines of prime malting, which are quoted at from 3s to 33 3d. there is no sale. Grass Seeds. — There is now a little demand • for small parcels, and best heavy niachinedres=ed is selling at from 2s 6d to 2s lOd, good 2s 2d to 2s sd, farmers' dressed Is- 3d to Is 6d, best Is ed to Is 9c", cocksfoot bast 4d to sd, medium 3d to 4d per lb. > Chafu — During the past week consignments oi! prime quality have been Jess, and any of this class is saleable al from £il'us to £2 10s per ton, vihile the market is siill over-supplied with medium and inferior, which- is unsaleable, and quoted t>t from 25s io 35s per ton (sacks extra).
