The Premier has recerved a cable from Major Davis that Colonel Francis has gone to Kimberley unwell, and that he (Major Davis) is left in command of the first and reeond divisions -of the New Zealand Regiment. Colonel Newall, has cabled to Mr Seddon that the fifth contingent are well. _
