(From Oue Own Correspondent.) CROMWELL, August 29. Boring operations have been started on the yoltaic Company's claim. The plant is working well, aiid is getting gold up to half-penny-weight pieces. The Second Magnetic Company's machinery is being put on, and is supposed to bo ready for a start m three weeks. Operations on the CJpper Magnetic Com.pany's claim are at a standstill, owing to the machinery not coming forward. The Meg and Annie Company's dredge is now dredging.
