At Invercargill on Friday, J. H. Scott, a young married man, was with threatening to shoot Constable' Fergusson in the execution" of his duty. The constable visited the accused's house, as it was Teported that owing to his conduct the, lives \ of his family were in danger, when Scott | pointed a loaded revolver at him. Accused, j who had been, drinking heavily, was remanded, bail being refused. |
