CREAM SCONES,

Sift together two cups of flour, three teaspoonsful of baking powder, and one teaspoonful of salt ; work in two lablespoonsful of butter. Add two well-beaten eggs and about oneihird of a cup cf thin cream, and mix to a dough. Turn on to a floured board, and roll out into a sheet three-fourths of an inch thick. Cut into diamond-shaped pieces, then bake in a hot oven for 15 minutes.
