The structure is an imposing ona, and a decided ornament to the parade. It will be unveiled shortly, on which occasion there will be a fitting public ceremonial. A correspondent, evidently with the intention of testing the powers of observation of the officers of the Pcstal department in Adelaide, recently posted a communication which' is unique both in respect to the size and the character of its medium of conveyance. Both. the address and the message it contained were written on the back" of a twopenny postage stamp. The stamp reached the addresses by the first mail 'after it was posted. All things considered, the postal authorities eami through the ordeal with flying colours.
