In ora advertising columns Messrs J. J Ramsay and Co. announce that they have been instructed by the directors of the Morning Star Gold Mining Company to offer the Dunedin public 2000 preference shaies paid up to 17s 6d. The capital of the company consists of -12,000 shines fully paid to JCI, and "1,000 preference paid up to 17s Gc*. The liabiiity on the latter will thereforp be 2s 6d. Over 18,000 shares have been applied for by the directors arc! the present shareholders.
