As a sop to the Afrikander Bond, Mr Bchreiner, the Premier, has prohibited all jubilant demonstrations in honour of British successes unless they are specially authorised.
LONDON, March 19. Owing to several infectious cases of fever among the Boer prisoners, their deparrare for St. Helena ha? been delayed.
None of the Free Staters will be to St. Helena.
Lord Roberts has entrusted the Bloemlontein Army Hospital, containing 500 beds,
to the care of Surgeon-major Fiaschi's section of the New South Wales Anry Medical Corps.
There are many complaints about the quality of the boot* worn by the men in Lord Roberta's army.
It was owing to the constant recriminations between the Free Staters and the Transvaalers who are prisoners at Simonstown that the authorities found it neeessaiy to take special precautions to prevent the development of a serious outbreak.

Reuter's correspondent states that Sir Alfred Milner, with his military secretaries, ha-i left Capetown by special train.
Thirty-one thousand troops are en route to South Africa, including the eighth army division.

Mr Hume, formerly of the Wellington Artillery, New Zealand, has been appointed one of the officers in the Imperial Bushmen Corps.
