PENINTSULA.

March 17.— The meeting of the Peninsula Road Board was held on Saturday last, the members present being: Messrs Stuart (chairman), Sanderson, M'Curdy and Gunn. The dog tax was fixed at 2s 6d per dog, and John Bishop was appointed registrar. It was resolved to hold a special meeting on the 17th inst., at 7 p.m., to consider the qxiantity of metal required for each subdivision. Accounts amovmting to £32 Is lid were passed for payment.
