SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. Carisbrook A v. Carisbrook B.

This match was commenced on Saturday on a somewhat soft wicket. The A team winning the toss, elected to bat, and made good use of their opportunity, their innings closing for 259 for eight wickets. Sledeberg was top scorer with 101, giving a good exhibition of batting. Although, he gave a chance or two, his innings wos, on the whole, a very sound one. Cuff and Austin also played in their beat form, the former hitting out in fine style, while he was very correct. He was eventually caught off a bumpy one. The rest all contributed a fair proportion to the score. Most of tho bowling was done by G. Harrawov, who came out with a good average. With 10 minuted io bat, the B team lost two wickets for 16.
