GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT.
Messrs William E. Reynolds and Co., Bond street, report for the week* ending 14th March as follows : —
Wheat. — There is little or no change to report, market is much about the same as last week. Only a few samples of new offering. Quotations : Prime milling, 2s 5d to 2s Gd ; fowl feed, 2s Id to 2s 2d. Oats. — Stock in this arc short, and although no new crop is offering here a considerable business has been done in Canterbury. Market is slightly easier; price of bags has been advanced to 6d, which means a greater cost f.o.b. to the shipper, sacks in, and we qviote to-day: Prime milling, 2o; best feed, Is lid; good, sound, Is 10d- to Is lOJd. Chaff: Best oaten sheaf is worth up to £3; ordinary quality, £2 to £2 10a. Potatoes.— Market is well supplied, and sale is difficult to efiect, prime being worth up to £2.
