MACKINTOSH.— On the 15th January (suddenly), at his residence, Duncan street, James M'Kenzie Mackintosh, late H.M. Customs. MILLS.— On the 11th January, at his residence, Forth place, "William Mills; in nis ninety-first year. PANTON.— On the 12th January, 1900, at the residence of Mr W. Brew, Brougham street, Sydenham, after a long and painful illness, Ella, the beloved wife of Walter Panton, late of Invercargill; in her fifty-fifth 'year. Deeply regretted. SCOTT.— At Paradise Flat, KelEo, Mrs James Scott, mother of Mrs Alexander Thomson; aged 77; late of Lochee, Scotland. TXLSOJST. — On the loth January, at his residence, Port Molyneux, Henry Tilson; aged 80 years. ROBERTSON.— On the 12th January (suddenly), of pneumonia, James Robertson, Melrose; in his sixety-ninth year. VEITCH.— On the 9th January, at Canongate, the infant son of Eobert and Helen Veitch. ■WILLIS.— On the 17th January, at her late residence, Ri'-hraond road, Kew, South Cunedin, Louisa, the beloved wife of Enoch "Willis, also sister of Mrs William Keen, "Warrio, Southland, after a long and painful illness; aged 55 years.
