THE FURNITURE TRADE DISPUTE A meeting of tho Conciliation Board wsff heid at the Supremo Court on tho 20th, and attended by Mesrs W. &. Sim (chairman), G. L. Sise, and R. Ferguson. Xvir W. Hood, president of the Dunedia United Furniture Trades Union, slated, in ieply to the chairman, that an industrial agreement between the employers and the union had. been duly signed and filed. He obtained the. last signature to the agreement on Saturday, and it was now filed in the court. Ho wished to thank the board for the valuable assistance they had rendered in bringing the matter in dispute to a satisfactory settlement. fle thought the settlement would prove satisfactory to all parties. The Chairman : The members of tho board are very glad to hear the matter is settled.
