NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Section 8, Block XIV, Pomahaka Downs estate, containing 311 acres 3r 37p, will be open for application at the Crown Lands Office, Dunedin, on WEDNESDAY, the 28th day of SEPTEMBER 1898, on the Lease in Perpetuity system, under the Land for Settlements Act, at a half-yearly rental of £27 6s; valuation for improvements £195 10s. All applications must be accompanied with a deposit equal to the sum of the half-yearly rent, and lease and registration fee (£1 Is). The valuation for improvements must be paid immediately the result of the ballot is declared. Applicants should be in attendance at the meeting of the Land Board on September 28, 1898, to answer any questions the Board may see fit to put to them.
