SYDNEY, September 17. Mr G. Reid has gone to assist Mr Smith. He says he is returning Mr Barton's little visit to the King's division. September 18. The electors of Hastings are having a fine political show. Messrs Crick and Reid follow hard on the trail of the Premier to assist Mr Barton, the Government recognising the need of a seat after the result of the recent censure motion, are leaving no stone unturned to secure Mr Smith's return. The conflict is a bitter one.
