CONSUMPTION OK PHTHISIS
Is a constitutional wasting disease in which the lungs are gradually destroyed by morbid deposits of tubercle and consequent ulceration. To the bacilli of these deposits Townend's Cinnamon Cube is highly antagonistic, and in the early stages of the disease is sufficiently powerful to overcome and destroy the germs on which the progress of the disease depends Apart from this the valuable soothing properties of the cure are such as to speedily allay the racking cough and so promote the patient's recovery. It is a certain cure_ in ordinary colds, recent cough, loss of voice, bronchitis, bronchial asthma, whooping cough, and croup, while its soothing and germicidal properties render it of the greatest value in influenza, pleurisy, pneumonia, and catarrh.
