Owners in and about Dunedin have entered liberally for the October races, and though, the prospectus has not tempted the big Canterbury stables to have a cut in, the sister province is represented by a few very fair "second-classers, whilst Oamaru sends some that be welcome,,. and there are entries from the south, one from as far away as Winton, |he Cup colt Glenelg being a candidate for 'the leading events.
