The Farmers' Agency Company (Limited) held their annual sale of of rams, *c, nt the Gore fair on Wednesday I'ist There W!v> a good entry of sheep— the bulk Loice-tevd and Konmejs. The \v?ather wai something to be remembered, ai it came in torrents, and did uot help the bheep in appearance. Buyers were plentiful for L?icesters only, and everything of this class was cleared. Romneys and Liucolns were uej-iected. and only a few sales made. Sjuic six peu« of Shropshire also cbuisgeil bauds. Leicestei-3 brought Jg to 4g3 : Lineolns, Is to 3ihs ; ltonineys, lg to 3gs ; Shropahircs, ig to \}%s. We Bold : for various vendor?, G7 Leicester ranis at from 19s to S^s ; Mr J. 1). Logan (Greenvale), and others, 44 Uomney.s at, from 1# to :jlg-; ; Mr G. P Johnsston iWaikaka), 7 Lincoln^ at from Hgs to ljgs; Mr D. Murny and others, 13 Shropshire's at from £g to lg ; total, 131. Mr John li Logan's Bomneys were a magnificent lot, and were much admired and brought top price.
