MANNA.
Dr Adam Clarke, in reference to the word "manna" in the V6rse Exodus xvi, 15, says: "This is a most unfortunate translation of the original man-hu, which literally signifies ' What is this 1 ' for, says the text, ' they knew not what it was,' and therefore could not give it a name."
