CROWN LANDS OPEN FOR APPLICATION.- , Ardgowan Estate, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that 65 Sections on the ARDGOWAN ESTATE, near Oamaru, will be open for Application on the LEASE IN PERPETUITY System, with possession on Ist Junij ut-xfc, under "Tha Lands for ', Settlements Act 1894," at tbis office, and at Mr Henry Mackiuto.-h's office, Tyne street, Oamaru, on TUESDAY, the 12th <.f May, 1696. The areas vary from 9 acres to 365 aores, and tbe rentals per acre from 5; 6d to 16s. In cases. where more than One application is received for the same section on the date of application, priority of selection will be decided by ballot on THURSDAY, the 14th of May, at Weir street Hall, Oamaru. Posters giving detailed information relative fco the various sections , alto general information and instructions to intending applicants, will shortly be ready for distribution. A member of the survey party is stationed at the Survey Camp, on Section 112, in the forenoon, and at the Homestead in the afternoon from 1 p.m., for the purpose of affording information -and assisting intending applicants in viewing the estate. -F,ull information can be obtained at this office.
