DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS. Weekly Rkpout. Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report as follows : — \ There were very few buyers present at Saturday's sale, and the horses submitted to them were moßtly of rather inferior quality. Draught horses were more poorly represented than the* have bees for some time back : those offered consisted chiefly of aged, light, and inferior ones, and these did not meet with much demand. Young, active horses of this class would sell well, the demand for them being very fair. Spring-carters were no better represented than draughts ; those forward were mostly aged and inferior-but in spite of this the demand was fairly good. Had there been any really fir»t-class animals of this class forward we are confident we could have disposed of them at satisfactory prices. Light horses were fairly well represented, and we offered a number of well-bred horses of this class, which were well competed for, a good many changing hands at satisfactory prices. The demand for hacks was much better than it has been for a few weeks past.
